Secure Signature allows you to set permissions for each staff member using a shared user account in VetSnap. When this feature is enabled, you can filter what each person can do, based on their signature permissions.
How to Enable Secure Signature
For an existing user account:
Go to Settings and select the existing user account.
Ensure all permission options (except admin permissions) are selected under the user’s profile.
Note: If a permission (e.g., “Reconcile Logs”) is not selected here, a staff member will not be able to perform that action—even if it’s enabled under their individual signature.
Scroll down and enable Secure Signature.
Save your changes.
For a new user account:
During account creation, select all permissions (except admin permissions) that the user may need.
Enable Secure Signature before saving the new account.
How to Set Permissions for Individual Signatures
Once Secure Signature is enabled, you’ll need to assign permissions for each staff signature individually:
Navigate to the Signatures tab in Settings.
Select a signature.
Enable the appropriate permissions for that specific staff member.
Repeat for all other signatures.
