- A negative balance warning in the container means that based on the starting quantity, and the amount logged from the container, VetSnap's calculated total usage now exceeds the starting balance
- This can happen due to a few reasons:
- Someone opened a new container, but selected the wrong container as part of another log
- If you look through the log history, the other log may still be open for modifications (i.e. it has not been archived) If that is the case you can go to the log with the incorrect container and make the adjustment there
- If the other log in question is already archived, you can go into manage containers, and make the necessary adjustments there to the containers in order to reflect the correct usage
- The actual quantity within this particular container supplied by the manufacturer exceeded the expected quantity
- If this is the case, keep using the container until it is physically empty
- Then, navigate to Manage Containers and change the status of the container to Finished.
- You are able to make an adjustment to manage the balance discrepancy.
