• If "Double Confirmation" was enabled for a controlled drug during your setup, then the log entry requires an additional signature to confirm the quantity
    • This must be completed by a separate individual from the original staff member that created the log entry and can be done by anyone with the Record Logs permission enabled (unless the log entry is in Fix Needed)
    • You are able to enter the secondary signature by selecting the log entry within the logbook. From there, you will select the toggle next to "Confirmed", add a comment, and input your signature and pin number.
    • You are also able to confirm the log within the reconcile tab. This can be completed by selecting open the log entry and then Edit. You will select the Confirmed toggle, add a comment, and input your signature and pin number.

  • There are two different ways to setup Double Confirmation
    • Required on Reconcile to Archive - this means only one signature is required to initially save the log entry, but a secondary person must sign off on the log entry at some point before the log can be archived
    • Required on Log Creation - this means both signatures are required at the same time in order for the log entry to be saved
  • Note: If a staff member is attempting to confirm a log within the "fix needed" section of the reconcile tab, but they do not have reconcile permissions, they will be unable to do so. They will need to confirm the log within the logbook.
