Editing the Amount Logged

  • If the amount logged needs to be updated and is still pending in your Reconcile tab, select View Details next to the log you need to update. You can then choose Edit and update the quantity used or enter waste if necessary.
    • Enter a comment noting why you are editing the log entry.
    • Add your signature and select “save”.
  • If the patient needs more of the same drug at a later time, we recommend creating a new log entry. For example, Buprenorphine given q8h would have 3 individual logs in a 24-hour period.

Marking a Log Entry as Waste

  • If the patient did not receive any of the drug and the entire amount was wasted, but it has already been logged and is still pending, you can select View Details and then choose the Waste Log button. This converts the log entry into a waste entry.

Making Edits to an Archived Entry

  • If your log has already been archived, it is no longer open for edits:
    • Navigate to your logbook and locate the log entry.
    • Select the log entry to open it.
    • You can ignore the log entry with a comment stating why, OR you can add an additional comment if that is all that is needed

Updating the Client/Patient on a Log Entry

  • If a log entry was logged under the incorrect patient and is still in the Pending section of your reconcile screen, you are able to change the patient
    • Select View Details and select Edit
    • Scroll down to the patient and client information, there you will see a button to "Change Patient/Client".
    • Once you confirm that this is the action you wish to take, you will see the search fields to locate the current patient/client
