- Under Settings, select Create Inventory. Select the button that says, Create Controlled Inventory Item.
- Click on "Add Manually."
- Enter the drug name. It is recommended that you include the drug concentration and schedule class in the Inventory Item Name field
- Choose the correct unit size
- Ensure that the Measure type is appropriate
- Choose the drug schedule
- Select how many decimal places you would like to log this drug to
- If you would like to have double confirmation, select this from the drop-down
- Check the Controlled Substance box
- Once this information has been saved, the drug will automatically show as an option at the top of the logbook. If it doesn’t, you may need to hit “refresh”.
