Please note that the starting balance on a container cannot be changed once it has been opened.
Container balances are adjusted in Manage Inventory
- Select “Manage Containers" next to the drug name
- Select View Details for the container you want to adjust
- Choose “Adjust Balance”
- Select the adjustment type
- Adjust Current Balance Down - Removes quantity from your container balance
- Adjust Current Balance Up - Adds quantity to your container balance
- Enter the quantity needed to be adjusted
- Use a descriptive comment as to why this adjustment is needed
- VetSnap will require two signatures
If the container is Unopened
- Select “Manage Containers" next to the drug name
- Select View Details for the container you need to correct
- Click on Edit
- Change the Starting Balance
- Use a descriptive comment as to why this adjustment is needed
- Enter your signature
