You are able to specify when you would like the secondary confirmation signature to be entered.
- Not Required – A secondary signature is not needed for a log entry to be archived.
- Required on Reconcile to Archive – Only one signature is needed when creating the log entry. However, a second signature must be provided after the creation of the log (from either the reconcile tab or within the logbook) before the log can be archived/finalized.
- Required on Log Creation – Both the initial signature and a secondary confirmation signature are required before the log entry can be created in the logbook.
This can be set up by going to Create Inventory under Settings, clicking on the drug name to open, and selecting the option that best fits your team.
