If VetSnap flagged two drug logs with a “fix needed” warning, even though the total quantity removed (1.5 mL) matched the quantity on the invoice (1.5mL).
This issue typically occurs when the Waste Invoiced (in PIMS) setting is not enabled. Without this setting turned on, VetSnap assumes you're only invoicing for the administered quantity, not the total amount removed from the vial (which includes waste). As a result, even if the numbers appear to match, the system believes there's a discrepancy.
If your location invoices for the total quantity removed, including any waste, you’ll need to enable the Waste Invoiced filter in your VetSnap settings.
To enable "Waste Invoiced" in VetSnap:
Go to Settings > Create Inventory.
Open the drug entry in question.
Check the box labeled "Waste Invoiced (in PIMS)".
Once this is set, VetSnap will correctly interpret the quantity on your entries will auto-archive as expected moving forward.
Note:
You will need to manually archive the affected logs.
