There are currently 5 optional signature settings to require double signatures on certain actions. These can be customized by an admin by going to Signatures under Settings and clicking on Configure at the top of the screen.



Require Signature Pin # (optional)

  • Any action in VetSnap will require the signatures selected PIN code.
    • For security, we recommend keeping this toggle on.

Require Primary Registrant Signature for Biennial Count

  • When performing a Biennial physical count, the signature of a Primary Registrant will be required.
    • Please review your state and federal regulations if this is a requirement or if it can be turned off.

Require Double Signatures - Restock

  • When restocking, 2 signatures will be required for each container added

Require Double Signatures - Waste Log Entry

  • Wasting an entire log entry will require 2 signatures. This would be for the entire patient waste. 

Require Double Signatures - Log With Waste. 

  • Any log entry where waste is recorded will prompt for a second signature before it can be saved. 
  • When editing a log entry from the Reconcile screen, if waste is added to the log entry, the system will now require a second signature before saving the changes.
